Special orders
Pretty much forget everything below. Find something similar to what you want on my web site - cut and paste the picture and email it to me. If you are not that computer savvy describe what you want. Keep in mind when you choose 'special order' over 'from my existing inventory' that it cost me 3 times more to make it 'your way'  so expect it to cost more (usually twice as much) but it makes it special and unique. I just would go broke giving the same price as existing art, as much  as I would  like to do this. So just be aware you'll have to pay more for special orders so it is best sometimes to inquire what I already have!
Retail buyer
Pretty much forget everything below --cut and past a picture of what you want from my web site and ask if I still have it. There might be a problem describing what you are looking at that I am not looking at. I've got 26 web pages with 1,000 changing pictures. I have in my life created over 20,000 one of a kind items. I'm getting  older--running out of ram. So--like an old computer I skandish and defrag every night. What I did yesterday is gone. So I greet each new day with fresh memory. Or if you do not get that explanation-- I am the sort who focuses on today and tomorrow and not yesterday. When I finish a project it is done. My mind is on a new project. If you ask me about the turquoise with a bird on it I do not have a clue what you are talking about. I'm a visual person- and artist- Show me. The sort who hasn't got a clue what color my toothbrush is, what I ate for breakfast--or even how old I am. I shrug my shoulders. I'm the best in the world at what I do. Some think I am a genious. But genious, insanity, and being an idot are closely related. Point me in the right direction and give me data. Don't assume because I created it I know what you are talking  about. (smile)
Wholesale smallish orders
Pretty much cut and paste from my web site and ask if I have it still or something similiar or can  I make it. If it's less then 12 items no use bothering understanding the code. The code is more  for shops  so big their computer doesn't know what to do unless there is a code. So I say"Behold! There is a code!" And  it might helpt when re-ordering from  a long list --what sold what  didn't and such. You can try the code if you like, .it might help to at least glance at the column headings to know what it is you need to tell me so we both sing from the same sheet of music.
Wholesale big orders
I don't use order codes on my web site items you see. Most are one of a kind. yet I organize my own trays of work with a code I have used for 20 years. Basically it is an abbreviation of the 5 things  I (and you) need to know about a piece --so any item you see has a code - as close as can be got. So---find an item you like- review the chart below and desribe that item using the 5 factors. When you get your reciept I'll write it out in abreviated code if you request a order number.

Prices
Ordering something I already have in stock is the best deal. If I have to create it then it is a special  order- will cost more and take longer to get. Ideally it would be nice  if I posted what I have in stock--even an idea of what I have. But I can make something in less time then I can keep track of it, and I can  make up to 100 new items a week. There is no practical way to post it. Plus I hate paperwork. There are 2 good ways to get the best price though--especially for larger wholesale orders. In the 5 categories on the chart --request only the bold headings. In otherwords be less specific. I have trays of my work with labels --maybe 20 categories. If I can pick anything from one of these 20 trays it takes me less time and saves you money. If I have to hunt around and spend half an hour trying to find each item --someone  is going to pay for that time. You. Example "pendant--stone--bird-feminine -  $50" I will pick for you a pendent that might be on turquoise- amethyst- jasper, and it might be a hummingbird, a robin, a chickadee, it will be smallish- sort of dainty- for a woman and it will be under $50. That can be as much as half the price of telling me you want "a pendant made of turquoise with a silver humming bird that is small with a gold chain and $45."  The chance of my having that in stock are slim and chances of me finding it if I do in under 15 minutes is slim. The exception is my new line of cast items but am still working on telling you want those are-- but eventually I will have a product line and if you want 100 of them they will all look alike--well no but as close as I get --as I'll have 100 faries holding an opal made of silver (for example) all cast from the same mold.(that's a popular item) and  I want to offer my capped lynx claws at a rock bottom priced to sell deal no one can beat. I have 2 designs  now -having the master mold and wax injections done outside at by the hundred low prices. I still do the casting as I get the metal free from the barge line --old propellers and such--but that's another story.  Second way to get the best price. Give me your order at least 4 months in advance. (I may or may not ask for anything down but there will be an obligation to take the order or pay a penalty fee. That might be a deposit you don't get back or however we work that out-just so I don't create  a special  order and get stuck  with  it). If you have a seasonal shop give me your order way before your season. In this way I can at my leisure work down your list and add the special items to my usual work and start setting it aside till the order is complete. If I'm not under pressure I'm happy . If I am happy I give you a discount I'm going to have stress in my life you pay for it. Plus time is money and if I have to tool up to create a item there is set up take down time costs.  In General-- prices are discussed, and as you notice on my site not many prices are listed. But in general I have a product line comming along that cost a third what it cost you a few years ago. Why? Oh.. well folks in other countries besides the US do business different and I agree after 30 years experience. The price is somewhat set but factors involved are who you are, how much you might buy- the likely hood of you being a return customer, your location and expected mark up. Is that fair? Who knows? Excuse me--but no-- we are not all created equal. 20 years ago I noticed local shops in my village could only mark my pieces up by 10% or they wouldn't sell, at the same time shops in Denali park were marking the same items up 400%. Was that fair? So now I charge local shops half  what I used to charge them and Denali park shops twice what I used to charge them- while pretty much making the same over-all profits. Just a redistribution of wealth. At the same time it is common for me to sell at cost or give away art to people who really love it and honesty can't  afford it. While I make up for it with millionaire  customers who know they are paying much more and are happy to do so, because they believe in what I'm doing and want to support it, or they wish to impress someone with how much it is worth.  Beyond all that --animal products shift fast in value as well as fossils and such as they are a limited resource and there are new finds and finds that dry up and good years and bad years for harvest etc and I have to be able to adjust my prices to meet the changes. Lynx claws this year cost you half what they did last year. Fossil ivory has doubled in price in 2 months. Such is life My regular customers trust me as I trust them.  The bottom line is I'll be fair with you. I want you to be happy and come back and make money at the same time I want to stay in business. Or if this is all nonsense- well I'm ecentric. This is how I do it. If you have never heard of such a thing--welcome to my world.
So hopefully this is understandable -basically there  are 5 ways to help describe an item . In order --tell me something from each column. I have an abbreviated code for everything on this chart and that will be your order number if you need an order number. But if that is too complicated just tell me what I need to know. What do you want? (a necklace a pin a buckle?) What  material would you prefer? Ivory? Do you have a design in mind? A bird of some kind or? And how do you want it to 'look' I do nt know if you are 12 years old or 80, a man or woman or if yo like loud art or quiet art. Ideally curt and paste a picture from my web that you like so I know the sort of things you want.
Examples
This piece would be ordered as A pendant, animal proeduct-lynx claw, with a flower design, for a woman in the $50 range
This would be described as a knife, animal product-horn handle, outdoor design, masculine in the $250 range.
These at the left would all be described as pendants, stones-crystal, bird theme, either masculine or feminine in the 'under $50' range.
The above examples explain what i need to know to fill your  order best.
