Tim and I have done business together since the early 70's. He owns a shop - does a lot of retail wholesale - knows about everyone in the state in the business of Alaska materials and finished product. specialty is Indian Eskimo artifacts and trade beads. I  worked for him and I stay with him when in Fairbanks. He's probobly the best in the state at what he does. He can verify my materials knowledge and business ethics. He wouldn't know much outside the state -or about gallery art

Any of these people can supply you with names of people who know me who I wouldn't have been able to coach. I do understand the problems of doing business on the Internet and have no problem with wanting to check things out first.

Jinx- the owner of the gallery is a friend I have known and done business with since the 70's. This is the best gallery in the interior of Alaska. Her husband is Borough Mayor. Both are highly involved in the arts association and artistic -business interests of Fairbanks. Very highly reputable people. She would be a good one to verify my artistic standing in the community and business ethics. The gallery handles some of my high end art. She would know 'nothing' about my raw materials however.

Kristine and Gary  are local interior Alaska artists doing wood work, with woodburning (Gary) and intricate beadwork with wildlife designs and often including feathers teeth claws. They sell  beads and bead supplies that are hard to get.
Family run business. Homesteaders who live a simple life of rustic beauty and support that with nice handcrafts of all kinds. Clay work wood sewing necklaces nice gift items
Good source for amber of all kinds. Specialize in high quality with bugs and such. rough or cabs. Lots of information on the site about amber identifition and quality etc.
