Fossil necklaces of all kinds

One of my special interests is fossils so I have quite a selection of fossils and fossil art- necklaces. I used to do just 'critter parts ' - a fascination with teeth and claws since I was a kid but this is less politically and legally correct so expanded into the 'fossil' side of animal items

fossil shell -million of years old and is opalized custom cast 'mother nature' in silver with an opal in her hand (amazed at the things she has created! similar item $195

Right--mixed ivory and gold necklace. Opal eye. Ivory pieces internally pined.

Left--walrus ivory box. fossil ivory lid. Custom cut and cast metal work all pined. Mexican opal flower center.

left-- custom pendant made from fossil walrus ivory artifact about 2,000 years old custom cast and all metals pinned.

Right-- claw work using gold. Left a lynx claw and right one is a wolf claw both using opal and turquoise. For this who want 'gold' (usually I use silver copper and brass for less $)

Left-- unusual material these are slices of mammoth tooth that have opalized (about 40,000 years old)

Right--ring. Not a great picture but do custom rings . This one is cast in copper with a nice Australian opal the customer picked from a photo of my raw materials 'Custom special order' does cost more then choosing from existing inventory but might be worth it if you want it 'special'

Left-- I do a lot of custom cast crystals with various themes. This is an otter of brass, cast just for this stone  in the $100 range.

'If you like my art this is the story behind it. My art is me, and a product of my outlook on life. I went out into the wilds at the age or 20 to live with the land. I spent 25 years alone living off the land mostly off a houseboat. It was a harsh life but exciting. I find my own raw materials and learn to work with basic hand tools 295 pages paperback filled with pictures  of the wild

Cassette tape Stormbound Trapper by Miles

The tape is a 1.5 hour long spoken story of winter in Alaska with sound effects. I speak of  seeing 70 below and killing bears, getting lost, running  sled dogs and being alone, a real feel for the Alaska winter I see it as another medium besides my visual art to  express my love of Alaska and the wilderness

Explanation is on my ordering page. Think of such items as ideas for special orders cut and paste me the picture. I may even have it, but it might take me half an hour to find out. I have over 500 finished pieces at any given time. Best price is items in the cart. Otherwise read my ordering page and inquire (shopping cart just getting started. Used to sell by personal contact on every  order. But this averages half an hour an order. I need more time away from  the computer
