Left- moose leg bones. This is a sort of new item as the knife makers have expressed interest. At about $10 a bone it is a good price to replace the more spendy popular giraffe bone. Has other art uses
Right- wolf leg bones . Similar interest as moose above but smaller -thinner but ok knife handle material. Also good for traditional native tool handles also have smaller bones ofr making beads. Some fo my customers make museum replica native American artifacts
Above castings. These are new in that as I improve my ability to carve wax and cast I can offer better detailed work and get costs down. These 'critters' can be made into earrings- used as pendants or get creative . Some can be used as knife guards- zipper pulls key chains buttons necklace clasps or? Since they start out as wax I can custom adapt them for your use. I can even put your make or logo on (while in wax). This is a new direction I am going and have in the  past year or so created over 100 new designs.  I have many bears and wolves but also a dragon fly - narwhales raven eagles a puffin or two seals whales flowers and adding by the month faster then I can show in my site-- so inquire
Right. I have a lot of  'bones' of all kinds used for making beads or in medicine bags etc. Right is lynx foot bones but have a lot of wolf on on hand --mostly those two but inquire. It's a by[product of the trapping industry usually thrown away . I buy carcasses from local trappers and try to get  an interest in skulls and bones so as not to see these items wasted.
right   lynx claws. I have quite a few on hand well cleaned and good prices. The local fur dealers cut the claws off before tanning the hides as the claws cut the fur in the tanning machine. The market for claws is less then the supply so I have been trying to get more interest in this material --again- so it is not wasted. Makes nice necklace earrings etc

With a 9 ft 140 pound mammoth tusk found on a friends native allotment land on the Yukon River in Oct 09 during a freak warm spell when I usually could expect to be on a snow machine or running sled dogs.
To quote a customer.....

I love the look on your face in the photo. Exactly how the time traveler should smile when he just aced it and scored one.
Betsy

I took advantage of a freak warm spell in the middle of Oct to make a fast but long river run on a fossil hunt. I have a friend with a native allotment on the Yukon River with mineral rights where  i can dig for fossils The record low water I know would be to an advantage when looking. This tusk is 9 ft long and 140 pounds. Aprox $11,000 value. Anyone interested let me know. I have some regular customers to contract interested in such items have not had time yet.
