Mammoth ivory chunk one pound 2 ounces. 4 ¾ long x 7 inches around the width curve, and 4 across the straight line curve. X 1 inch thick. Pretty solid material a hint of layer lines along the edges. No soft spots uniform cream color with hints of grays greens here and there. This could be cut up into scrapes to suit your exact needs and saves money over buying finished scales. $295. This is at least half the price of the value of scales made from this piece.
Mammoth ivory set 11 ounces Getting close to a pound of ivory. 4 inches x 3 inches x ½ inch thick. Rounded surface tapers to edge. Pretty sold did require some stabilization on the back to stop delaminating but top ¼ is very solid. Good color runs deep. Big enough for pistol grips or to allow carving, or could be cut up into several knife sets . $220
Mammoth ivory set 3.2 ounces. 4 ½ inches x 1 inch wide x 1/8th thick. Solid but has a couple of cracks on the back and a chipped corner on one so discounted from $75 to $55

Mammoth ivory set 9.8 ounces. 4 inches x 2 1/21 inches x ½ inch (thickness tapers to the edges.) Solid surface good colors hints of blue in several layers. This material could be used for large project like sword pistol grips bowie knife or cut into two sets or more for smaller projects. Over half a pound of material here. $120

Mammoth ivory set 2.0 ounces. 2 ¼ long x 1 inch wide x ¼ thick. Solid no restoration nice flat back. Ok colors run deep has deep texture. Good for small hunter or big folder. $55

Mammoth ivory set 2.4 ounces. 3 ¾ inches long x just over 1 inch wide x ¼ inch thick. Nice solid material colors not running very deep, but deep natural contours. Back has some restoration not going very deep (You can sand past it if desired). $60

Mammoth ivory set 1.9 ounces. 4 inches long x 1 1/16th wide x 1/8th to ¼ thick. Nice sold material colors not running deep but with nice surface character natural groves. Back has slight restoration. Might be big enough for a hunter but ideal for large folder or spacers. Nice dimension for the light weight but due to being thin. $55

Mammoth ivory set 2.4 ounces. 4 ½ inches long x 1 inch wide x ¼ thick. Nice and solid slight amount of filler in the back - no delaminating. Color does not run deep but good surface character with deep natural grooves. $60

Mammoth ivory set 5 ounces. 4 ¾ inches long x 1 ½ wide x ¼ thick. Solid except minor filler (good job done) on the back Filler can be sanded off but will have less thickness. Good colors moderately deep. $150

Mammoth ivory set 3.1 ounces. 4 inches long x inch wide x 1/16th to ½ thick Solid with good deep colors including a nice gray blue. Thickness varies but fine as is - could be sanded uniform if desired. $100

Mammoth ivory set 4.3 ounces. 4 ¼ inches long x 1 ¼ wide x over ¼ thick Solid nice deep colors. Some alligator pattern, some hints of blues. Uniform pattern. $125

Mammoth ivory scales 2.5 ounces. 4 inches long x just over 1 inch wide x 1/8th thick. Good colors run deep nice and solid. A little on the thin side for some applications but keeps the weight and price down. $75

Mammoth ivory scales 4.4 ounces. 4 inches long x just over 1 inch wide x a hefty 1/3rd inch thick. Very unusual colors dark on white. Solid no cracks- extra thickness to work with - even a possibility of splitting into another set. $150

Mammoth ivory set 2.6 ounces. 4 inches long x 1 inch wide x ¼ thick. Solid, slight hollow back, good colors but not going deep. Good color always has value but price reflects it’s less than perfect qualities. $75

Mammoth ivory set 2.5 ounces just under 4 inches long x 1 inch wide x ¼ inches wide. Solid, nice flat back, interesting color patterns. $85

3 mammoth ivory sets of bark knife scales . Total weight 9 ounces. All are 4 inches long x just over 1 inch wide x ¼ inch thick. Cut from the same tusk- matched, for those who have a need of a matched set of knives. Normally sold individually total would be $315. Sold as a set $265.

Mammoth ivory knife scales 5.8 ounces. Just over 4 ½ long x 1 ½ wide x over ¼ thick. Colors not deep, solid - some chips out of backside should not interfere with use. Had $170 but will reduce due to back chips and colors not deep. $150

Mammoth ivory set 4.2 ounces. 4 ½ inches x 1 ½ x ¼ thick. Solid. Nice dark tan with darker blue-black on the surface. $125

Mammoth ivory scales 3 ounces. 4 inches x one inch x ¼ thick. Solid, no cracks, flat back, fairly deep running good colors. $105

Mammoth ivory set 2.3 ounces. 4 inches long x 1 inch wide x a weak 1/8th thick. Solid good color , maybe a little thin. But the good news is this is sold by the weight so a good price. If it were me and I needed more thickness I’d laminate it to spacer material. $75

Mammoth ivory set 2.2 ounces . 3 ½ inches long x 1 inch wide x ¼ inch thick. Solid good colors natural. Not a lot of weight so a good price for the quality. $75

Mammoth ivory knife scale set 2.9 ounces. 4 inches long x 1 inch wide x ¼ thick. Solid no cracks. Back has rough saw marks - just needs sanding. Colors run very deep so lots of room to work surface. A good price, not higher because colors are ‘ok’ just not the blues so highly sought after. $90

Fossil mammoth ivory knife scales 1.1 ounces. 2 ½ inches long x just shy of 1 inch wide x 1 /16th thick. Very rich deep blue back color. Good for folder, not enough material for fixed blade unless combined with other material used as spacers end caps etc. Natural color, solid - no cracks. $65

Fossil mammoth ivory knife scales 2.5 ounces. 3 ½ inches long x 1 inch wide x ¼ inch thick. Solid, no cracks , all natural color. Very nice blues blacks brown in a pleasing pattern. $130

Mammoth ivory knife scale set 2.5 ounces. 3 ¾ long x 1 inch wide x ¼ inch thick. Nice blend and pattern of blue - brown. Solid no cracks. Sold by the weight, this set is not heavy and lacks the 4 inch length of some sets so a good price for the quality of colors. $95

Mammoth ivory knife scale set 3.2 ounces. 4 inches long x 1 inch wide x ¼ inch thick. Nice tans - dark colors slight alligator pattern running deep. Some slight restoration on one piece that wanted to delaminate. Now stable and solid. Discounted $20 due to repair. $95

Mammoth ivory set 3.6 ounces. 4 inches long x 1 inch wide x ¼ inch thick. Nice colors with alligator pattern that run deep. One pieces has slight imperfections on the back (seen in the photo of the back sides). A perfectionist might notice, but I think it has no effect on the worked final product, but slightly discounted since it is not perfect. $98

Mammoth ivory set 3.0 ounces. 4 inches long x 1 inch wide x 1/8th to ¼ thick. Very nice colors running deep with some gray blues . Slightly tapers cut maybe 1/16th variance. Solid no cracks takers a high shine, so seems extra hard. $120

Mammoth ivory set 3.2 ounces. 3 ¾ inches long x 1 inch wide x ¼ inch thick. Solid hard all the way through nice blues. $110

Mammoth ivory set 2.7 ounces. 2 ¾ inches long x 1 inch wide x ¼ to 1/8th thick. Solid crack free ivory with nice deep colors- consisting of blues- grays. Back is flat but thickness has a 1/8th or so variance across it’s width. Looks like sanded on top to follow the best colors. $85

Mammoth ivory set 6 ounces. 4 ½ inches long x 1 ½ inches wide x ¼ inch thick. A fairly big beefy set nice and solid material with deep colors. Blues greens tans marbled though it. Paying by the weight, this is a nice heavy set #1 quality all around. $180 Sold

Mammoth ivory set 1.3 ounces. 2 ¾ inches long x just over 1 inch wide x 3/16ths thick. Solid no cracks natural colors but a smallish set for a pocket knife or section on larger. Exceptional colors and pattern that go all the way through. $58

Mammoth ivory set 3.6 ounces 4 inches long x 1 inch wide x ¼ inch thick. Good colors running deep. Some blues and greens. Extra thick but slight hollow on one piece so some thickness will be lost of it needs filling. $150

Mammoth ivory set 5.9 oz 4 ¾ long x 1 11/2 wide x ¼ thick. A nice big set for large needs. Good for those seeking white ivory. Hints of browns running deep but mostly nice white. $195.
