Creating Links If you already know how and why - here are some choices for you to select from- you need not read further Just a reminder? The objective is to get one of these icons from my link page into your web program off line- with an address hooked to it so that when your page is on line a visitor can click on my icon and go to my web site. 'Recipricol link' means if you contact me I will do the same and put a link to your site on my page so we can help each other be found. In more detail******* First you have to have access to your web site off line and be able to edit it- which requires a web page making program. If you do not have access-send your web page maker to this page by saving it. #1 choose which icon of mine on this page you want on your page. Put your cursor on it and right click. You will get a page asking you what you wish to do with this picture icon. If one of the choices is to 'copy' then copy it and paste it into your web program. If the only choice is 'save as' then you need to save this in a format where it can go in a file that you can access from your web program. Once you have my icon in your program go to step 2 #2 You now need to get the picture icon onto your web page. You may find it easier to refer to instructions that come with your program for how to import- copy and paste. Usually you select where on your page you want my icon with your cursor and paste my icon. Once on your page the icon size can be resized to suit your page. You may type in your own text to go along with the icon or you may copy mine and paste it. Once the icon and text are on your page you are ready for step 3
#3 Getting a web address connected with the icon on your page.
